Sprühgranulation in der zirkulierenden Wirbelschicht Björn Stiller

In the present work spray granulation in the circulating fluidized bed was examined. Therefore a model system consisting of sucrose particles as bed material, an aqueous sucrose solution with 60 wt.-% sucrose as sprayed liquid and air as drying gas was used. Based on the experimental results a population balance model, considering local breakage / attrition and agglomeration / granulation effects in different characteristic zones of the granulator which is capable to describe the main influencing parameters was derived.
