In March (2005) I sent a message to Dr. Naranjo asked him this question "What is new in PBW research? ". Shortly he answered me saying that "What's new in PBW research ?. Well, several things. Transgenic Bt cotton has been widely adopted in AZ (about 80 % of the acreage) and PBW has become a rare insect in cotton. So far there is no evidence of resistance and the technology is very, very effective. It has essentially eliminated all sprays for pinky and other caterpillars", and he enclosed his message with the three reprints of his most recent research papers [Naranjo (2005a and b) and Naranjo et al. (2005)]. These new information sent by Naranjo ( 2005 ) made me very interesting in the subject of " Transgenic Bt crops , and especially transgenic Bt cotton " which is now with two main other sources " Wikipedia and CICR reports " and in reference to two article reviews of my publications(Albeltagy (2013a and Albeltagy2013b), are the subject of this book .
