Choosing subjects is one of the most influential decisions students make in their educational life. F actors that affect the students choice of subjects can be extrinsic, intrinsic or a combination of both. Decision to select subjects in a certain direction can heavily be influenced by several factors. Female students heavily favour the humanities subjects while the male counterparts incline towards the sciences cluster.
