Chemical dyes are not ecofriendly dyes, but these herbal dyes are ecofriendly and free of many types of sensitivity, allergies and environmental hazards. The present study was carried out the first time to dye the leather of goat with aqueous extracts of Bauhinia variegata, Dalbergia sisso and Erythrina suberosa plant. Four different types of mordants CuSO4, FeSO4, KMnO4 and Potash Alum were used to fix the dye. These mordant gives different shades to the leather. Fastness properties (washing, heating. sunlight and rubbing.) were also done. Result was evaluated by using grey scale. Result of fastness properties in all case was very excellent. Bauhinia variegata gave different shade of one color but, Dalbergia sisso and Erythrina suberosa gave two different colors with four different mordants.
