The main sources of water are rain water, river, pond, lake, sea etc. Not even a single source of water, in present time, is in its pure form. Each source of water requires proper treatment, so that it can be made harmless and useful for health. The main objective of present book is to check, test and compare for contamination and to treat the pond water because ponds act as reservoir to the ground water level. The check for contamination is further useful in pisciculture.
