The study was conducted in Chepang community of of Dhading district to see the impact of climate change and how the indigenous communities are adapting with climate change. The data was collected using participatory methods such as household interviews, group discussions, key informant survey, transect walk,. Similarly, secondary data,such as meteorological, was also used to supplement the primary information. Both qualitative and quantitative techniques were used for data analysis. The research found that less rain fall, frequent hail stone result of climate change had severely affected agriculture crops and it effect to the livelihoods of the indigenous people. Increase of exotic species in forest had threaded the biodiversity and increased temperature had increased the incidence of diseases. It tries to reflect the knowledge of indigenous people in assessing signs of climate change and the practices that they have adjusting. It also tries to adapt the local and scientific knowledge together and overcome from the climate change impact.
