In this book, the comparison of the performance of (i) proposed unglazed hybrid PVT tiles air collector (ii) glazed hybrid PVT tiles air collector and (iii) conventional glazed hybrid PVT module air collector for 75 Wp each in terms of an overall energy, exergy gain, exergy efficiency, carbon credit earned has also been carried out. The life cycle assessment (LCA) and energy matrices, namely, energy pay back time (EPBT), electricity production factor (EPF) and life cycle conversion efficiency (LCCE) based on overall thermal energy and exergy output from glazed hybrid PVT module air collector have been evaluated for outdoor conditions. As per the norms of the Kyoto Protocol, the annual carbon credits earned by the system have also been calculated. The exergoeconomic analysis of various hybrid PVT air collectors have also been carried out for optimization of hybrid PVT air collector.
