This experience was conducted to test and study the pig behavior and welfare in their competition for the facilities, analyzing as much as possible the drinking, feeding and rooting behaviors in two different pen sizes and animal densities. Under the EU regulations and having in mind that welfare is already an imperative issue, an overlook in this subject matter could help farmers in their future orientations. Nevertheless, behavior measurements are a difficult subject to analyze and reach definitive conclusions.
