An essential component in achieving the Millennium Development Goal 4 is Immunization of children. Immunization practices, especially in developing countries, are very paramount and therefore any factor(s) that prevent the smooth running of immunization services should be of a concern. This book presents a series of experiences, suggestions and practical advice for carrying out effective immunization for children. Using mothers with children with ages 1 to 18 months, questionnaires were administered to them to illicit their responses. That is lot of first hand information was gathered from them concerning the factors that may lead to interruption of immunization services. The data was analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. It was realized that increasing age, low educational level of mothers, poor attitude of staff, and lack of privacy, long waiting time among others had negative effect on immunization. This work is very necessary since the development of every society depends on the number of healthy individuals it has and health is best achieved when diseases are prevented through measures like Immunization.
