The identification of relationship between scientific authors is an important area of study which has many applications. One of the most important application is to identify the Conflict-of-Interest between authors and reviewers. There may exist different kind of relationships between scientific authors for example person ?A? and person ?B? has not co-authored a single publication but they have studied together from the same supervisor, both ?A? and ?B? have worked together on same project, both ?A? and ?B? host a special issue of a journal etc. This kind of relationships may not be discovered using co-author network and social network, but they represent a strong association between two researchers and to find such associations is the basic theme presented in this work.
