In the book entitled "The Position of Guru in Sikhism: An Analysis" the author has described about the spiritual scenario and the socio-political situation of pre-Nanak India. This book focuses on the nature, role and importance of the Guru in Sikhism. A short profile of the ten Sikh Gurus and their contributions has also been given. It also includes the usages of the word 'Guru' in two other Indian religions along with Sikhism. Some interesting issues like 'Satguru', Mystic forms of Guru and different forms of guruship have also been discussed.
