"Urban Housing Studies: A Brief Summary" is a concise but comprehensive overview of studies, development and policy issues on Nigerian urban Housing from pre- independence till date. It covers virtually all the different facts of housing considered relevant to students, professionals and practitioners in the built environment. It reviews housing issues from five different but related areas; including Urbanization and Needs for Housing; Housing materials, construction and Technology; Housing Environment, infrastructural Facilities and Services; Housing Policy, Programmes and Management; Housing Finance; and Socio- cultural implications of Housing. This study concludes with the identification of some study gaps or areas of housing demanding further research attentions.
