Drip irrigation is a newly introduced advanced method of irrigation in India. The system is most appropriate and suitable for economic utilization of water and energy to increase the quality food production for ever growing population especially where water is extremely scarce. Drip irrigation system as a major plunk of modern science and technology was introduced with assumption that it's wide spread adoption will generate a dynamic spark resulting into improving socio-economic condition of the farmers. This change is reflected in terms of generating more income from the agriculture by saving of water and other input.
