Have you ever tought about what you eat? Human activities are polluting the environment in which men live and consequentely the sea. Many contaminants have physical and chemical properties which determine wide distribution and high persistence, so all living organisms can be easily exposed. Several epidemiological studies suggest a relation between some contaminants and cancer. This study reports data about a specific class of toxic substances in organisms from the Ionian Sea.
