This action research study takes placewithin BC/Yukon Command of The Royal Canadian Legion, one of Canada largest community serviceorganizations. Non-profit sustainability is acritical weaving of sound business practices andsupporting growth in the volunteer membership throughleadership, learning, inclusion, and co-operation. This book provides current and aspiring leaders withinsight into the internal complexities involved inchange initiatives and change management. Additionally the findings and recommendationsdemonstrate how shared values and collective voicesin a grassroots volunteer workforce systemicallyinfluences organizational decision-making practices, which supports a climate where change is more readilyaccepted.
