Analogie Und Offenbarung Wolfhart Pannenberg
Analogie Und Offenbarung
Wolfhart Pannenberg
It has always been a controversial issue between followers of Thomas Aquinas and Duns Scotus' and William of Ockham's camp whether speech acts about the being of God are univocal or analogical in relation to conventional use of language. The discussion has been taken up by recent scholarship. As early as 1955 Pannenberg analysed the history of the term of analogy in the teaching of the cognition of God. A chapter on Duns Scotus and Ockham complements the original text of the book as well as concluding thoughts that reflect Pannenberg's systematic-theological judgement today.
