Contributor Bio: Monk, Peter Peter Monk received the MA degree from Cambridge University in 1978 and the Ph. D. degree from Rutgers University in 1983. Since 1982 he has been on the faculty of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware. He was appointed Unidel Professor in 2000.
