Volume 7 contains Schleiermacher's correspondence from September 1803 until the middle of October 1804, the end of his time as Court Preacher in Stolp, Pommerania. Of the total of 291 letters in this volume, 82 letters are published here for the first time, and a further 26 letters are published in their entirety for the first time. 105 additional letters have been identified of which there are no extant copies. The volumes are prefaced with lists of the letters and detailed historical introductions; access to the letters is facilitated by notes, bibliographies and detailed indexes of names and works.
