Your child will learn to read and write 38 of the most common blended consonant sounds: ch, sh, th, wh, ai, ay, ea, ee, ie, oe, oa, ue, igh, ow, ou, er, ang, kn, wr, mb, dge, oo, oy, oi, or, ar, ear, ir, ur, aw, au, ck, ph, ti, ey, ew, ough, ui. Trace the letter sound with your finger and ask your child to trace and say the letter sound.
