Some of us as children used to hear about haints, spooks, witches, demons, and devils. I learned that these were territorial spirits and we do spiritual warfare with them. We thought it was just another tale that was being told by some of the adults who were around. Maybe I shouldn't have been listening, but for some reason my ear was glued to the wall, being nosey. Did you do that? But I never knew how real these deities (that is, spirits) were, until I experienced them in my own life - God, Satan, angels, demons, devils, as well as the battle between good and evil, or the quest for men's souls (yours and mine). I realize that the pages of this book could not contain the whole story, for it would take a lifetime to tell. Plus, it would be too long for you to read; neither could the pages of this book define the paths I had to take on my journey. My life still bears the marks and the scars of life's adversities and pains that were left to remind me of God's grace and His goodness toward me. I don't blame, nor am I stricken with so many bad memories of my past that I can't hold my head up, and constantly look forward to a bigger and brighter tomorrow. King Solomon says in Proverbs 4:25, "Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee."
