I Am Free "I Am Free" is about Princess Mary. Princess Mary lived on St. Samuel's Island. The queen was jealous of Princess Mary. The queen sold her to the captain who lived in another country. The only way that she could become free is with her great-great-mother turning her into a beautiful white bird. The bird's beak was a poisonous weapon.
