Dr. Bashir was inspired by the national "Reach Out and Read" Program to write children books . The program promotes reading to children at a very young age in order to ignite the love of reading and learning in the young children's mind. This book is part of the series " The Adventures of Petey Pots and Pans". In this book, Petey Pots and Pans travels with his trusty companion Ducky Bobby to the Masai Mara Wildelife Reserve in Kenya to meet his new friend Henry the Hippo. But his adventure took an unexpected turn, when he was intercepted by the Masai warriors!
