John Liu, a young Chinese engineer, who is working for a Canadian company in Shanghai, China gets lost in Squamish when he is being trained in Vancouver headquarters. The police announce his missing. Liu's fiancée, Cindy Xin, who is also working for the same Canadian company, came to Canada looking for Liu. Actually, Liu does not get lost but meets a UBC student, Charlotte, and joins they emergent action to protect the Great Bear Rainforest from being logged by a private lumbering company. Xin, who is unware the real situation, acted as a secret messenger to pass messages to the members of West Coast Rainforest Conservation Federation...
