About the Author: A native of New Jersey, John J. Rust grew up rooting for both the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies. A graduate of both Mercer County College and the College of Mt. St. Vincent, Rust worked for New Jersey 101.5 before moving to Arizona to become sports director at KYCA radio. Along with "The Best Red Sox Team Ever," Rust has authored eight other novels spanning numerous genres, including baseball, science fiction, and action/adventure.
