It would seem to me that our problem as believers is not whether we believe in prayer or know the value of prayer. I am convinced that our problem is in knowing how to pray and obtain results. To solve this problem, many theories and approaches abound and are daily being invented. It seems to me that there is quite a lot of deception about prayer today as there is about other key elements of the Christian faith.
The theories and approaches being advocated have not been seen to work. Believers roam from one place to another in search for solutions to their needs and problems. Many have found themselves victims in the hands of self-made apostles and prophets and prophetesses who promised them deliverance that never came. Some have even been led out of the faith in search for solutions to their problems.
Our problems are even compounded by the prevalence of ineffective solutions. But we can indeed pray and obtain results.
How this is done is what this book teaches. I am trusting God for a spiritual awakening within the church and each Christian as a result of this book.
