There will be seasons in life when we need the fortitude and determination to continue our service for Christ. Regardless of the challenges or circumstances that we face, there must be a longing in our hearts to stay the course. In keeping with Christ's example, He refused to allow anything to deter Him from the purpose of saving and redeeming our souls. He went through such a difficult time during His earthly ministry, and yet, through it all, Christ came out on the other side. As a result, it opened the door to eternal life. This is all made possible by His unrelenting and unshakable attitude to keep His eyes on the objective. Now it's your turn to adopt the same spiritual and mental focus to further His cause. You have an opportunity to put your faith in action. To make a difference in the lives of others that could translate into eternal life! That's right! Someone could have an opportunity to live forever behind your commitment to Christ! You can mirror the same unstoppable grit of the early disciples who continued His work by helping others get to Him. That is what our gifting and abilities in Christ amount to-helping others get to Him. This is something that is relevant for believers in every generation because the work and mission of Christ is for all time periods. Someone is calling on Christ for help. Someone is in need of hope and direction. Will you use the ability that He blessed you with to be a tool in His hands to reach others? Will you devote yourself to continuing His work by giving it your all? Will you do it for Him? Just as He did for you!
