"What, you don't think I would look good with short hair?" Zooey asked, feeling a little sting in her heart. "Of course I do!" Hadley exclaimed. "I'm just saying that I think it is cool that you are going through with a change that you really want. If I wanted a change like that, I don't think that I would have the bravery to go through with it."
