After their shipwreck on the Tanzanian coasts, Blake, Mike and Sammy explored their new lands, but they were soon attacked and the Rinca rat was lost. After a brief battle, Mike and Blake are led by their new vulture friend, Fred, to look for their rodent companion.



However, Sammy isn't lost. She's a captive of a highly-dangerous lion pride led by a powerful big cat named Astorious.



Meanwhile, the feared hunter Vicente Alessi has just arrived on the scene and seen the Komodo dragon through the scope of his rifle. No longer does the poacher want to find a rhino like he'd initially gone to Tanzania for - now it's all about capturing the great lizard he's always wanted to hunt.
