Katie, Corrine, Clara, Betty, and Loni are unique, ranging in age from sixty-seven to ninety-five.

In the end, over the course of her interviews, Roxanne began to realize each woman's life shared some common threads. Each woman had cultivated a heart for God. Their stories offer a glimpse into the past and into God's faithful care, even amid turmoil, loss, and war.
