A woman's shoes let the world get an idea on where she is going. Athletic or sporty shoes are more dynamic and express a can-do attitude. Wearing high-heeled shoes is a bold statement. Boots are worn for protection and are also seen as a demonstration of what you can accomplish.
Sandals speak of a carefree nature, and being barefoot in the Bible refers to being in God's presence. That lends intimacy to the very meaning of being barefoot.
My intention is that we can connect with the simplicity of wearing shoes as we become aware of our spiritual nature in Christ.
