As a mentor, Susan suggested to Aimee that she should write ten gratitudes a day for one entire year. Aimee invited Susan to join her in this endeavor so that they could bear witness to each other and provide mutual encouragement during challenging times. Digging more deeply into the many layers of their lives, they began to see the ordinary as extraordinary.
