Why the arguments Christian churches use to condemn the LGBTQ community are the same arguments they used for centuries to justify slavery. How the Christian beliefs that promoted slavery were also the excuse for the cover-up of clerical sexual abuse. Why racist thinking cannot be eliminated without eliminating every aspect of thinking of oneself as superior to others in any way. Why thinking one is superior to others in any way makes it impossible for one to consistently treat others as equals. Why the only way to oppose racism is to affirm equality.
