Tons of Palabras: Comida. an English / Spanish Book for the Real World Duopress Labs

Introduce the little ones to the English and Spanish words used by kids in their daily lives with Tons of Palabras (Tons of Words), a new series of bilingual books made for Hispanics by Hispanics.

In the first book in the series, tots will learn about the foods and traditions that are used as the building blocks of their daily lives. Comida y Tradiciones introduces more than 100 words in both English and Spanish alongside beautiful and simple images. In the food pages, kids will learn that "beans" in Spanish are frijoles, "rice" is arroz, and "hot chocolate" is chocolate caliente, while the traditions pages will show them celebrations, from the Día de Reyes (Three Kings Day) to quinceañera ("sweet fifteen") and Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead).
