THE NARRATIVE:
Heartbroken and full of regret, Chris abuses sleeping pills and many other things until his consciousness divided from his body and entered the desert. In this magical place, insects and animals speak, forgotten gods roam, and the anti-Christ waits in gestation. This is a world of similes and symbols, rhymes, and DMT-like entities. Madness awaits in bills and heartbreak. Purpose and wisdom prove harder to discover.

The insects and elves have transformed; the larvae soon will too. They have offered him advice and warnings. Will he listen and transform into someone wiser? He already carries two coins for Charon. Life is short, but what will Chris strive for before his toll is paid?
