She has a desire to compete in a man's world and be their equal. Her adventures lead the reader on exciting escapades throughout Northwestern New Mexico, Northern Arizona and beyond.




An encounter with a young "seer" gives Lizzie her destiny. A dire warning from the young girl in regard to a black horse, represented to her as a gift of a small black onyx horse haunts her for all of her life. Determined not to let this premonition dominate her life she pursues her dreams.
