This book was written by Dr. John Emery in order to share with you his knowledge of bipolar disorder and how this disease affected his life before and after he was diagnosed as having bipolar disorder at age 39. It is simply an example of how one person tried to deal with this disease.




Both of Dr. Emery's parents were from Canada. Dr. Emery is very proud of his Canadian heritage. Many members of his mother's extended family are in the province of Ontario today.
