A Girl with a Big Vision is about 10 year old Natty's journey of finding and achieving her dreams of becoming an Eye Doctor and discovering the importance of never giving up on her dreams.




In tribute to her native home of Kingston Jamaica, author Kerri-Ann Coombs Hodge tells the story of Natty, a young bright, inquisitive young girl who carries the weight of her father's vision loss. Her dad, her hero, is going blind and she wants more than anything to save his eyes. She makes it her life's mission as she embarks on a career path that will take her from the beaches of Jamaica and land her studying Optometry in the United States.
