Marie Clyde plays it safe and boring. She bores her co-workers, her ex-husband, and even herself. All that changes one day with a bumped head and a stolen kiss at the New Orleans' Museum of Art. And--it turns out that the kiss wasn't the only thing stolen at the museum that day! Someone, it seems, stole a priceless Fabergé box. And, apparently, the two thieves are one and the same. So, without a second thought, boring, safe Marie travels to Paris, intent on finding the thief, the missing art, and maybe even herself. She is joined by a determined art detective named Donald Harris, who suspects that Marie knows more about the stolen box and the thief than she's willing to admit. Maybe Marie isn't as boring as she thought she was, but becoming more exciting might just involve murder!
