Robert William Hult has been writing engaging stories since he was sixteen. Through a long lifetime of varied experiences, he has always pursued a love of writing, editing, and marketing. Driven by the need to discover in the fields of science, music, art, and world history, his body of work reveals a curious, dedicated mind, capable of drawing from numerous, varied resources to create something entirely new.

The author's adventures have taken him into the depths of the ocean to the top of tall mountains, inside gold mines, through jungles, and across frigid terrain. His passion to unlock the mysteries of animal and human behavior has, numerous times, proved dangerous, especially when he had to deal with wild creatures in their native environments. Grizzly bears and black bears, cougars, killer whales, poisonous snakes, vicious tidal changes, and many other situations have nearly claimed his life. If not for an intervention here and there and persistence, the author might not have survived at all to tell these tales. But they are not tall tales, they are true-life experiences drawn from notes the author made both during and shortly after the incidents. In short, this book is a collection of trying times through which the author prevailed against nearly overwhelming odds.
