Mike Stearns, a New York City police detective whose estranged from his son after a hard divorce, wants to reconnect with him. He wants his family but Stearns has even bigger problems than that. He's being stalked by the worst criminal he ever put behind bars, Reynoso Benitez. He's fresh out of prison, having volunteered as a test subject for Fusion genetics, a lab thats turned him into a wolfish monstrosity. Benitez threatens not only Stearns, but his ex-wife and son as well. He's on the warpath, and he wants blood. Stearns is the only one who can save his son and ex-wife from this super-powered psychopath. Lucky for him, he has Scrapps on his side, a stray dog who's also a graduate of Fusion. With super canine strength and speed, he teams up with Stearns to stop the city's latest menace and save the family Stearns has lost.
