He and his wife Rita have served as missionaries in Kenya, Uganda, Mexico, and Haiti.

LeRoy is a much sought-after national and international conference speaker, award-winning author, radio, and television personality. At Harvard University, he received a Bachelor's degree in English and American Literature and Language, and a Master's degree in Finance and International Business from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. LeRoy received his Doctor of Divinity from Master's International School of Divinity and his Ph. D. in Biblical Studies from Trinity Theological Seminary.
