Legendary songwriter/singer Chris Gantry, artist and prolific writer who has won MMI awards, the Nashville Songwriter Award, and the Tennessee Williams Playwriting contest, has written successful songs, a play, a series of short stories, children's books, and a memoir. Gantry brings to all his work a depth of emotion and honesty. Now he brings these qualities to his poetry as well. At times his poetry may be lyrical, pensive, satirical, or inspirational, or seems to scream and reach out to the audience or reader to force a response, but it never leaves a reader or a listener unaffected.
