What would you do if you were offered a lot of money to go back in time and relive seven days on your life? What if you were not allowed to change anything? What if, for even more money, you were allowed to make adjustments? Would you do it, or would you leave everything the same? This is the dilemma that a recently unemployed divorced father of two teenagers, Luis Parker, faces as he explores the challenges of entering the virtual reality world. A sci-fi novel, the premise is actually becoming more and more of a possibility in the near future.




Luis runs into an old friend of his brother's and he gets enticed into testing out a new virtual reality videogame because the money is just too good to turn down. In the first game, Luis will just relive selected moments from his life. But in the second version, for even more money, he will test out the version where he can actually change what happened. If he does make a change, what might be the unintended consequences of those changes? What would you do if you could change your past? Would you if you could?
