As a family-owned resort, for nearly a century the White Sulphur Springs Hotel welcomed weary travelers to secluded Milligan's Cove in southwestern Pennsylvania for rest, recreation, and the sulphur waters. Through a rich collection of historical photos, documents, and personal accounts, Where Cares Refuse to Stay explores the legacy of hospitality in the Cove, as well as the story of the hotel and its proprietors, and it considers the 21st-century role of this Pennsylvania landmark, now the eastern conference center of Officers' Christian Fellowship.
