In the aftermath of the attack of the Golden Temple and the assassination of the Indian prime minister, government officials openly incited, inspired, and assisted mobs in murdering Sikhs all across India. Unlike the media censorship and the security measures that instantly followed the assassination of Mohandas Gandhi, thousands of Sikhs were murdered in the nation?s capital while the police watched indifferently and the Indian media fed the flame of mass murder with genocidal language and sound bites from India?s most influential members of society. A FEAST FOR LAMBS is a powerful and tragic story based on true events seen through the eyes of a seven-year-old boy as his parents attempt to save him from the killing crews sent into the Trilokpuri colony. For three days straight the crews barricaded and slaughtered Sikhs within the colony without police or military intervention. During these endless days of slaughter and unspeakable terror in India's capital, the boy's parents discover the power of love, faith and supreme sacrifice. Jessi Thind is the author of two historical fictions, ?Lions of the Sea? and ?Saragarhi? and several short stories. He currently works as a narrative designer, having written and designed for James Cameron?s Avatar, Tom Clancy?s Splinter Cell and Jay Singh?s O. G Lafunk. He is currently working on a new undisclosed IP inspired by City Rain an award-winning, environmentally themed indie game he helped design for Ovolo Games. When he?s not writing, consulting or designing games, he?s teaching Tae Kwon Do in Montreal or Interactive Storytelling at Burlington?s Champlain College.
