In this first in The Celestine Trilogy...
Watched and waited for by many, the birth of a forbidden child in the deep, dense forest was forewarned in ancient texts, held in the halls of creation.
The cries of Evangeline's birth echo and wake the forest. God knew of this child and thought her birth should not have been allowed. It transpires that the child is the tool he needs to stop yet another rebellion within his own created children, the angels, who through her, humanity could now be saved. But at what cost?
So much death is placed before this child, so many lies and corruption deep within the church. This must be stopped and so too the darkness that lies deep within its foundations.
Many pray that Evangeline has the strength to do what she has been created for. If not, this world will not survive as we know it.
May our Father have mercy on us all.
