Betrayed by his betrothed, accused of treason, defeated in a fixed joust, exiled and pursued by assassins he wins back his kingdom with the help of a bloody-minded, marmalade-coloured, talking warhorse called Harold, a mysterious black Knight called Fauntleroi - who turns out to be a black lady, a cockney outlaw called Charlie and Huff, a tragic dragon.
