Tom, a former sailor and international mountaineer had reluctantly settled for a quiet life in the suburbs. When his wife developed dementia and then died he thought his own life was just about over. Little did he know that an unpleasant nightmare and an early morning ring on his doorbell would be the catalysts for the most exciting, rewarding and romantic year of his life. A combination of the Windmill Club and a beautiful young woman meant the end of the quiet life in the suburbs.
