Two thousand years after the birth of Jesus Christ, the Church he founded is, in all its varieties, in turmoil.: How can Christianity operate in an increasingly secular environment?: How is the early history of the Church and Pauline conversion relevant to us today?: What, indeed, do Christians actually believe in and do in the community?: And how should the New Christians react to topical issues such as youth violence, domestic violence, racism, the environment and multi-faith? Christians and the Church today are faced with an immense task in order to redress the breakdown of family values and to humanise and Christianise modern civilisation. It is accepted that the great advancements and continued development of the world, and its survival, provides Christians and the Church with the opportunity to contain the decline in membership, to play a major role in the community and wider world, and to propagate the gospel. The New Christians is for those who are believers, those who are preparing to follow Christ and those who are about to return to the Body of Christ.
