White Pearl John Wanstall
White Pearl
John Wanstall
Leaving behind the bright lights, long days and endless frustrations of his career as an acclaimed cameraman in the film industry, Alan Prior decides to return to the West Country fishing village of Seaford, a place that had enchanted him as a young boy on a family holiday. Seaford offers the chance for a new start in a genuinely close-knit little town, far removed from his successful but unrewarding life in London. His goal is to learn the fishing business, starting at the very bottom as a deckhand on a trawler. But he will also need to win the trust and respect of the locals if he is to succeed in carrying out his plan: to own and operate his own trawler out of Seaford harbour and be accepted as a true member of the community.
